Netra Tarpana

Eyes are the windows to the soul and one of the main sites of pitta dosha is called alocha. Excess heat or fire elements can accumulate in the eyes causing dryness strain, bloodshot eyes, and diminished vision. ‘Netra Tarpana’ is made up of 2 root words- Netra means Eye, Tarpana means Nourishment. Thus Netratarpana means ‘Nourishment of Eye’or a treatment which nourishes the eye. Netra Tharpanam is a relaxing Ayurvedic therapy for the eyes. it involves cleansing eyes using pure Ayurvedic ghees and oils.
